METMUN 2024

To all Members of TMU Model United Nations, all attending Delegates, Faculty Advisors and Staff Members,

I would like to officially extend to all of you an invitation to join us at METMUN 2023! METMUN is our annual conference held traditionally near the end of the fall semester which acts as a beginner or refresher conference for our newly anointed delegates and/or a refresher conference for those delegates that have come back from a temporary break in there Model UN journey's (people like myself). However, while our conference is a great place for beginner delegates to test their mettle, our conference also provides an opportunity to rise to the occasion for those rather seasoned delegates with years of experience under their belts who are looking for a challenging end to their Model UN journeys. Whichever kind of delegate you are, METMUN 2023 will provide you with a great experience to rave to your fellow MUN delegates about, and memories and experiences you can keep as a memento of your time in the biggest city in Canada. 

 

My name is Sarah Hnatkivskyy the Secretary General the 2023 rendition of our conference and President of TMU Model United Nations.

This year our conference has a variety of committees to build up your Model UN skills while indulging in your passion. Whether it be nuclear non-proliferation, global adaptation to climate change, or exploring the vast and extremely dangerous world of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, you have an excellent chance to make either make the world a better place by making plans far ahead into the unknown future, dominating the world of fantasy.

Once again, it is an absolute honour and a privilege to invite all of you to partake in this year's rendition of METMUN 2023. I hope you enjoy your time with us, and have fun exploring the largest city in Canada, our home, Toronto!
